Product Introduction

Joint bearing, also known as rod end spherical bearing, is a self-lubricating spherical sliding bearing with the capability of multi-directional swing and tilt compensation. The bearing is composed of an inner ring with an outer spherical surface and an inner spherical outer ring. Sliding friction can occur between the spherical pairs, which can compensate for large angular misalignment between the shaft and the housing. It is suitable for low-speed swing and tilt movements, and cannot withstand high-speed rotation conditions.

Joint bearings are divided into two types: oil-free self-lubricating models and those that require regular grease lubrication. The self-lubricating model has a sintered composite lining on the inner side of the spherical surface of the outer ring. It does not need to be filled with grease before leaving the factory. It is maintenance-free and suitable for equipment that is difficult to carry out subsequent maintenance. The spherical surface of the lubricating type Joint bearing is a metal contact surface and must be replenished with grease regularly. It can withstand higher loads and has excellent impact resistance.

Mainstream product series include GE…E, GE…ES, GE…ES‑2RS, GE…C, GE…EC self-lubricating series. The seal suffix ‑2RS stands for double-sided rubber seal, which can prevent dust, water vapor and impurities from entering the spherical friction pair and extend the service life of the bearing. The retaining lining can be made of copper alloy, PTFE composite sliding layer and other materials to adapt to different working conditions such as corrosion and moisture.

The outer dimensions of the bearings comply with ISO standards and have good interchangeability. It can bear radial load, and can also bear combined radial and axial load at the same time.
